My name is Maggie Swain, and I’m a 19 year-old ski cross athlete from Carrabassett Valley, Maine.
Over the past two seasons, my career has gained serious momentum. In the 2023/24 season I competed in the Youth Olympic Games, placed 3rd overall in the NorAm Cup standings, and had top ten World Junior Championship finishes. This past year I broke into Europa Cup and World Cup events, and finished 24th at the World Championships. My top World Cup finish so far is 17th place. This is an exciting step forward on my path to competing alongside the world’s best at the World Cup level and in hopes of Olympic qualification.
My dream has always been to go to the Olympics. My sights are set now on competing at the highest level and a possible bid for the 2026 Winter Olympics. As I aim for the 2026 games, this upcoming season is critical. Early-season World Cup results will determine my eligibility, and I’m training harder than ever to make it happen. The U.S has never had a woman compete in ski cross at the Olympics and I want to be one of the first.
However, the financial demands of international travel, coaching, equipment, and competition fees are significant, and that’s where you come in.
I’m actively seeking sponsorship to help support my journey to compete at the World Cup and Europa cup level to reach my end goal of competing in the Olympics one day. In return, I offer brand visibility at national and international events, social media promotion, local news coverage, and a chance to align with a young, driven athlete representing the next generation of Women, Mainers, and American ski cross.
